Dazzlers Enter top 20!

April 19th 2009

Today marks a mile stone in the 6 FML seasons that the DR Dazzlers have been in existence, as today manger Craig Legend has led the Dazzlers to the top 20 of the GW for the first time. Having previously peaked at 38th before a dramatic slide saw them hit 242nd in just over 10 days this heralds a new era of optimism and expectation for the Dazzlers loyal fans.

We at Dazzler Blog Spot were able to take a few minutes with club captain world class goal keeper Renan when he took a brief break from the Dazzlers extensive training. He went to pains length to not only thank the fans for the their excellent support but to also provide his team mates with a few words of inspiration.

"We are heading into a crucial part of our season right now" said Renan, "we are 9 games unbeaten in the AEFA Premiership and if we can start converting some of those 7 draws into wins then a place in the UFFA Gold Cup could become a target. However its going to be a long hard season in an extremely close league so we need to keep our heads up and work hard for every minute of every match"

It truly is remarkable that the Dazzlers could even be whispering Gold Cup in private bearing in mind they came into the premiership through the playoffs and were one of the main favorites to be heading straight back down to the AEFA Championship.
